Making your own license plate is illegal, even if it is a very pretty license plate.
A woman in Springville, New York was arrested Wednesday when police caught her driving with a plate she’d constructed herself.
While a good effort, her creation is fairly distinguishable from an actual New York state license plate, pictured below.
